Dubai Chambers will take the Dubai Business Forum – China to Shenzhen on October 14, bringing Chinese companies, investors and policymakers together around opportunities in Dubai and the wider region. The forum will focus on how companies can use Dubai as a base for expansion into Middle Eastern and international markets.
According to Gulf News, the programme will span artificial intelligence, electric vehicles, fintech, advanced manufacturing, logistics and digital infrastructure. It will be the fifth international edition of the Dubai Business Forum and the second staged in China.
Technology and investment take centre stage

Sessions will examine practical commercial deployment of artificial intelligence, autonomous mobility and the infrastructure needed to support emerging technology at scale. Investment opportunities in fintech, advanced manufacturing and digital infrastructure are also on the agenda.
The forum is designed to connect decision-makers rather than simply present a market overview. Business meetings, sector discussions and bilateral trade and investment sessions will give participants opportunities to explore partnerships, capital and routes to international expansion.
Dubai Chambers President and CEO Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah said the relationship is developing beyond established trade links into a broader platform for investment, innovation and shared value creation. The planned discussions reflect that shift toward technology-led sectors and regional growth strategies.
Chinese mobility and cloud companies are due to join

Confirmed participants include senior executives from BYD, Huawei Cloud, Baidu, Tencent Cloud and ARIDGE, formerly XPENG AEROHT. Their presence puts electric mobility, cloud services and autonomous technology among the core themes of the Shenzhen gathering.
Gulf News also reported that the agenda will cover capital, incubators, talent, regulation and real-world testing of new products. These elements matter to companies deciding where to establish regional operations and how quickly they can move from pilots to commercial scale.
Trade corridors and logistics are also in focus
Executives from Emirates SkyCargo, DP World China, iMile Delivery and YTO International are expected to take part in the logistics conversations. The programme will look at how physical trade corridors can be reinforced by digital systems, and how Dubai can help companies diversify their international operations.
The first China edition, held in Beijing in August 2024, attracted more than 800 business leaders. This year’s Shenzhen forum brings that dialogue back to China as Dubai seeks deeper links across technology, trade and investment.
